DESCRIPTION: This hike offers a scenic view of gigantic mountaintops, majestic glaciers, and there is a teahouse near the end of the trail. Past the teahouse (~1.5km) there is a view of Abbot Pass and the Death Trap. This a popular 10.8km trail which gains 335m and is situated behind Chateau Lake Louise.

Pieces of the Glacier were breaking off, so we saw up to three mini avalanches
We saw a hoary marmot, many pika, a least chipmunk, and many golden-mantled ground squirrels
