DESCRIPTION: This is a 5km hike which climbs 390m up a rocky ridge, providing great views of the Elbow River and Mount Glasgow, Romulus & Remus. Once on the ridge, the trail extends for another 9km. It is very windy!
We then went to see Elbow Falls.
WHEN: 05.30.2004
HIGHLIGHTS:

  • We were able to see the city of Calgary from the ridge
  • It was one of Kellie's first hikes in the Rockies
  • Kevin was mistaken for a bear and Eric entertained us with his constant, "How bout them Flames?"
